Ferrari Hypersail has unveiled the new livery of the flying monohull developed to explore a new frontier in offshore racing, marking another important step in a project to which Boero Yacht Coatings acts as technical partner for the coating system.
Bringing together advanced engineering, innovation and performance, Ferrari Hypersail is conceived as one of the most ambitious offshore sailing platforms currently under development. Designed as a laboratory for experimentation, the project is built around an integrated vision where every element contributes to the overall balance and efficiency of the boat.
Within this context, Boero Yacht Coatings collaborates on the development of the coating system for the hull and integrated surfaces, bringing its expertise in high-performance yacht coating systems to a platform engineered for extreme offshore conditions.
The new livery reflects the project’s forward-looking identity and reinforces the connection between technological research, design and performance that defines the Ferrari Hypersail vision.
The language of colour
On Ferrari HyperSail, colour itself becomes part of the project’s philosophy.
The unveiling introduces the dialogue between Grigio Hypersail — inspired by the natural expression of carbon fibre — and the iconic Giallo Fly, Ferrari’s historic “second soul”. A colour deeply rooted in Ferrari’s heritage and now reinterpreted within a project built around speed, lightness and innovation.
For Boero Yacht Coatings, this adds another dimension to the collaboration. The topcoat becomes the meeting point between protection, technology and identity: the layer that defines colour, light and visual character while preserving the technical integrity of the system underneath.
