As technical partner of Ferrari Hypersail—the world’s first 100-foot flying monohull equipped with a foil mounted on the keel—Boero Yacht Coatings has developed the complete coating system for the hull and integrated surfaces. Every layer has been engineered to perform under extreme offshore conditions while contributing to the overall efficiency of the platform.

BEYOND THE SURFACE – LIVERY UNVEIL
For Boero Yacht Coatings, the challenge was not simply to apply colour, but to develop a finish capable of expressing the boat’s engineering identity while meeting the highest standards of quality and precision. In this environment, each coating layer contributes to the balance between weight, durability, aesthetics, protection and long-term reliability under the most demanding offshore conditions.
In this context, the final topcoat is more than a finishing layer: it is the interface between technology and the marine environment, designed to withstand UV exposure, saltwater, speed and continuous mechanical stress.
The colour scheme embodies the balance between innovation and heritage. Hypersail Grey, created for the project, reinterprets the natural character of carbon fibre through a refined grey tone reflecting its lightness, technical sophistication and performance. It is complemented by the iconic Ferrari Fly Yellow, a tribute to Ferrari’s heritage and Italian soul.
Achieving this result required exceptional colour consistency and surface uniformity across complex carbon fibre geometries, where visual quality is inseparable from manufacturing precision. Boero Yacht Coatings developed the entire finish to reflect the project’s technical excellence.
Beyond aesthetics, the livery becomes the signature of a shared engineering vision—where innovation is recognised in both the yacht’s performance and appearance. Boero Yacht Coatings oversaw every stage with a single purpose: to contribute to Ferrari Hypersail’s overall performance, layer by layer.
