From 23 to 26 September, Boero Yacht Coatings will be at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, presenting a vision of innovation that combines product development, research and in-depth knowledge of coating processes.

At the heart of this year’s presence is the debut of BoeroCoat UHB – Ultra High Build & Undercoat, alongside the ongoing collaboration with Ferrari Hypersail: two different expressions of the same approach to innovation, focused on developing efficient solutions for increasingly demanding applications.

A new approach to surface preparation

Surface preparation is one of the most crucial phases in yacht construction and refit, with a direct impact on both the efficiency of the coating process and the quality of the final result.

Developed specifically to optimise this stage, BoeroCoat UHB – Ultra High Build & Undercoat combines high filling capacity with the characteristics of an undercoat, making it possible to replace several layers normally required in a traditional coating cycle.

Reducing the number of coats can translate into shorter working times and lower consumption of products and accessory materials, as well as a reduction in the VOC emissions associated with the application process.

At the same time, ease of application and sanding, together with surface quality, help simplify the applicator’s work and create optimal conditions for the subsequent finishing stages.

This combination of efficiency and performance has also led to BoeroCoat UHB being included in Blue Wake™ 2026, the Monaco Yacht Show programme dedicated to products and solutions developed with particular attention to reducing environmental impact in the yachting sector.

Innovation beyond product development

Boero Yacht Coatings’ approach to innovation also extends to highly specialised projects where coating expertise can contribute to broader performance objectives.

This is the case with Ferrari Hypersail, an ongoing collaboration in which Boero Yacht Coatings contributes its technical expertise and know-how in coating processes.

The work has focused on optimising coating thicknesses and materials, with the aim of reducing overall weight and contributing to greater vessel efficiency.

Ferrari Hypersail therefore represents a concrete example of how Boero Yacht Coatings’ technical expertise can be applied to specific project requirements, contributing to the development of targeted solutions and efficient processes.

From research to real-world solutions

BoeroCoat UHB and Ferrari Hypersail tell two sides of the same story: an approach to innovation based not only on developing new products, but also on understanding how coatings are applied and how each stage of the process can be optimised.

Through research, technical expertise and knowledge of application processes, Boero Yacht Coatings continues to develop solutions designed to meet the evolving requirements of shipyards, applicators and professionals across the yacht and superyacht industry.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2026 will be an opportunity to discover these developments first-hand and meet the Boero Yacht Coatings team.

We look forward to welcoming you from 23 to 26 September 2026 at Quai Albert Ier, Stand AL36.
